History Channel or Discovery Channel?

If you were only allowed to keep one of those two channels, which one would it be and why?

I choose the history channel. I think they have better shows. But then again, I like history more than someone getting muddy or blowing up a two liter with pop rocks or something.

Probably history, because the only show on discovery I like is Mythbusters, all it plays besides that is shitty reality shows like Deadliest Catch

Its a tough call, Discovery often has cool engineering docos, but I love a lot of the WW1 and WWII docos on history...I'll have to say history, because a lot of the time the Discovery docos are so far dumbed down its like reading lego instructions.

I'm tempted to say discovery because science > history imo but geez... some of their docos are utter craptacular and most are quite simply mediocre, mythbusters excepted. On the other hand history channel docos are usually pretty interesting and well made if not so flashy. so history.

History.. they have space Tuesdays (the Universe, how the Earth was made..etc). History is also airing WWII in HD right now and it is incredible.

NATGEO, The Science channel, and the Smithsonian channel are also great.

in Italy we don't have that much cool new stuff.
Most of the stuff aired are stuff from last year or before that are repeated and repeated and repeated.
Sometimes we get new stuff but rarely.
