Yeah, you go three times per week.

For example:

Week 1:
Monday: A
Wednesday: B
Friday: A

Week 2:
Monday: B
Wednesday: A
Friday: B

(week 3: ABA, you get the point)
That's how it was in the previous versions of SL, so I can't imagine it beging changed. Or was it Starting Strength? I'm not so sure anymore, either..
Yeah that's right man.

Another thing, I always do at least 10 minutes of running/biking or 1500m rowing to warm up, because my workouts always feel worse if I do it from cold. Anyone else have this?
yeah.
I used to do at least a half hour on the bike + running but i asked here and they were saying i should turn it down a notch on the warmup to save energy for lifting. I HAVE to do at least 10 minutes of cardio before lifting otherwise my first few sets feel like shit (and YES i do a warmup set. i.e. if I start with bench press I'll do 10 reps of just the bar to get the motion down).
To be honest I haven't really noticed a HUGE difference in doing 10 minutes of cardio warmup as apposed to a half hour. Maybe a tad but not a whole lot.
Whatever works for you man. 10 minutes is good.
Personally 5 minutes is enough for me.
Half an hour uses up energy that could go into your lifting, and you should be warmed up well before you reach even 15 minutes.

This.

Also, I do about 3-5 mins of warmup, depending on how cold it is in the gym but not necessarily if I walked to the gym. Normally only if I have been sitting around the house before and drove.

@Zim a while ago commenting on military and bench press
I don't quote them because they are my worst exercises, and had to re-do the military press from scratch to nail the form.
I'm at about bar+15kgs for the mil. press and bar+25kg for bench. I'm not expecting to be able to get really far with these, I'm pretty light.

I wasn't saying it was a bad thing I was just proving that everyone was different so whatever you do to warm up, be it nothing or a bunch, as long as you feel you're ready to start lifting then go for it.

Aha, was thinking along the lines of that, so power would be very benificial for other sports, for example. How would one specifically train for power then?

I reckon Zimmer would have some answers. I'm pretty much clueless how to train for power properly.

Here's something I found that could be a starting point though - http://www.sport-fitness-advisor.com/po … ining.html

My copy of Starting Strength just arrived from the US, pretty quick considering I ordered it exactly 60 hours ago

Need to order some more whey. Anyone recommend a flavour? Last lot was double choc.

that's the kind i always get. I'm too afraid to get anything else cause I feel like it'll be bad or it'll get old fast. Double chocolate just seems "safe"

Yeah true. First time I got vanilla though it was pretty good (Musashi brand). Sticking with ON this time though.

I have banana and blend it with bananas and milk to ge rid of the fake   banana flavour. I used to buy on whey but now i use whey perfection for half the price

GM Vanilla is pretty good, even with water. Gets a bit sickly with milk after a while

I bought ON Extreme Milk Chocolate, based on a few reviews I read. I liked the double rich choc but it got a little sickly after a while too. Hopefully this isn't as strong.

Just a safe bet really. I'm not even a fan of chocolate but it tastes pretty good. I don't like bananas and I've heard strawberry can be hit and miss. Tried vanilla and liked it. Thought I'd try this one and then mix it up next time.

hm, i got a new job, which is great, but I work 8 hour shifts. I can bring my shaker bottle with whey and water(wont make my usual milk+banana because it wouldn't last 4 hours in my bag). But i'm also missing my 300g of chicken. I work 3 days a week so it sucks, but it's not terrible that i miss that meal. But still, i'll get hungry there and need a high calorie and protein replacement that i can take with me.
Suggestions?

Are there any kitchen facilities you can use on breaks?

One solution could be protein bars, you can get ones that are high in carbs as well as low carb options. But I'm guessing you want actual food instead of supplements?

Yeah protein bars are pretty expensive here. About 26 euros for 12. There is a sort of restaurant there where i get a 65 or 70% discount during work hours, but i have like 15 min (it's 30 min total but i have to walk there, and shit) and the line is fucking long. I'dd rather have something similar to a protein bar, i.e: Small and convenient to bring with me
