Since both teams current and future stadiums are in NJ why are they still called New York teams? Shouldn't they be the New Jersey Jets and New Jersey Giants since they're stadium is in our state or maybe we can split them up. We get the Giants and NY gets the Jets. What do you think?
because new jersey is a pile of shit

I mean even the Nets are moving to Brooklyn. I think that says enough.
Didn't you live in Ohio for a bunch of years? At least we have a the turnpike, what'd you guys have the drew carrey show.Red Forman wrote:

suck on that
You've already got the Nets. Be happy with that. Your state is so small that it doesn't require more teams to fulfill the quota with regards to population size.
On the serious side: Let's be honest, what kind of people would be interested/willing to go to games if it were in New Jersey. More people in NY, so there are more people to market to and say, "This is our team!" Plus if any tourists were coming through and wanted to go to a game, they'd be turned off by the fact that they'd have to knowingly go to New Jersey.
I know how you feel, though. When they renamed the Anaheim Angels to Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim strictly for marketing purposes, that was the most retarded thing ever. Already got an LA baseball team, the stadium is in Anaheim, etc...
