Suicide bombers and terrorism are born out of desperation. A feeling that they can't change anything politically or through traditional military means. The US has none of this desperation as they are the only super-power, So the US has no need or reason for tactics like this.

Who do you think backs most of these "peaceful and tolersnt" [sic] Islamic govts? The US. If you read the list of US intervention, the US have removed democratically elected leaders and installed dictators. They have supported whoever gives them the best price on oil, or most access to land, regardless of how they treat their citizens. I'm not saying the US is the only reason the ME is fucked up, but to deny that the US has any responsibility in what has become of these countries is sheer idiocy.

PS: 4 $ / Gal is 50% of the price we pay in Euroworld. It's not responsible for the economic situation. The biggest thing 4$/gallon may have done, is the rise of economical, greener and more effective small engines.

Yes gas has been more expensive in Europe. Unfortunately that argument is destroyed by the fact that we have cities bigger than some of your countries.. Although we pay 50% less in gas, we have a 200% longer commute, so it does affect us more.

Yes I made them up. it is called exaggeration to prove a point. However to say that we have many states that are bigger than some European nations is not an exaggeration. and the point is still valid.


N one went in with guns blazing, except Islamic  terrorists. A decade was spent trying to resolve issues with Iraq peacefully. We were not in the ME on 911.

America has been meddling in ME affairs for 200 years. You were at war with Islamic "terrorists", governments and groups long before 911. 911 was just another attack in the on going war. A cowardly one, yes, but it was by no means the beginning of the US vs ME conflict.

Like I siad if you want to bitch about the US getting involved in keeping the oil supply flowing and stable, don't use it.
