There are a few Jersey Users who post in DST cpt.fass1,-Gunsmoke-, macbeth, and a few others who maybe just lurk and all.

So on the third is the Gov election in NJ, I wanna see what you guys think.

Corzine was way behind in the polls up until recently where the race has narrowed. A lot of people hate Corzine but he is a democrat and NJ is a strong democrat state.

So what do you think?
Corzine (D)
Christie (R)

Me, I'm voting Christie

Typical media coverage: Fox making it out to be the end of Obama ('GOP Sweep', 'Is this a referendum on Obama?' - You Decide!') and CNN aren't even fucking covering the Democrat losses!!!!! Pathetic. Why the fuck was there no independent/libertarian candidate in Virginia?

I thought it was summed up quite well by Mark Shields from the Newshour a few nights ago, which was basically that if the democrats lose they say it was based on local issues but Republicans would call it as a referendum on Obama. And that the opposite would occur, dems win = it's a resounding approval of Obama, Republicans say it was decided on local issues.

CNN died for me a long time ago.. long before #cnnfail

RT @firefaunx: If you search for Kalamazoo on CNN site, you get NOTHING about today's vote. Wow. #CNNFAIL
And 15 minutes later, CNN gets around to confirmg NBC's prediction of NJ for Christie.

The US is now swinging like a pendulum that's gaining more and more momentum. You had Obama elected as a fairly left wing politician as the result of years of neo con right wing rule. Now you're going to have a few years of fairly high left wing rule. Which will only mean that you're going to get an even more right wing regime elected next elections. That's how I've always seen it. Bush paved the way for Obama, Obama will pave the way for someone even more right wing than Bush, maybe the cycle goes like that.

Spooky.
