I think you're going about it the wrong way. I used to think the same thing, but well, I can't anymore. Let's just say that rap != rap on the radio, or popularized rap.

You don't listen to "club bangers" for their musical style. If you approach them the same way that you would a rock band, you're doing it wrong.

There are good rap songs (okay, mostly hip-hop?), they're not all "pussy money weed".

Check out "Dance with the devil" by Immortal technique, just give it a listen.
