Local one isn't that big, has between 100-150 shops, but there are also 4 more surrounding our suburb all within about 10-15km, with closer to 500 shops each, and none of them have (visible) security. At 2 occasionally I see some cops walking around, but as the cop station is more or less in the shopping centre it's kind of to be expected.Kmarion wrote:

It's not like it cost much at all when split among a hundred stores or more. How big is your local mall?
They help people when they have car troubles and other mall services as well (primarily?).
My nearest mall, the Metro Centre, has some security. Don't see as much of them as you used to though, they used to stand by the entrances and patrol the aisles of the big shops.
