People can stop if they want to. If people want to drive slowly they can do that too.
You need to pay attention to whats in front of you.

stopping without reason and driving substantially slower than the speed limit are both considered wreckless driving.Blade4509 wrote:

People are allowed to drive cautiously and stop if they need to.
If you can't deal with that you need to learn patience, the rest leave to the Police.
Then YOU need to drive accordingly.everyone else on the road is fucking idiot.

I'm not worried about me, I'm worried about everyone else. I can drive as accordingly as I want, it won't stop some kid from killing me. I've already been rear-ended once because of an inattentive driver. I just don't want to die because the guy in front of me doesn't want to spill his coffee.Dilbert_X wrote:

Go kick yourself in the nuts. One for thinking you are good enough with only 3 months driving, and two for being uninsured. Anyway, haven't you ever seen Traffic Blues?lrishpride wrote:
Kez I'm having my second driving lesson tomorrow man... Only I've been driving for erm 3 months now, 2 months without insurance. I'm still on a provisional licence so I'm not really ever insured. But fuck it, I'm a safe enough driver and I don't make *much* mistakes for a *beginner*.

ok. Well. Heading towards city on M2. 100km/h, light rain, downhill going under epping road (near lane cove tunnel). BMW rapidly approaches from behind, and sits where I can barely see it's headlights... Maybe 3m behind me.. Wanting some distance, I lightly tap the brakes 4-5 times so it flashes. Without indicating, they decide to jump around me, narrowly missing another car in the next lane. While they speed off, I flick the high beams. Then I see their break lights flicker.. Before the cunt fucking SLAMS ON THE BRAKES! I also have to slam on the brakes, start to skid and somehow recover before stopping a few meters behind them in a cloud of smoke from my tires. They speed off...
I passed my theory and practical first time. Good luck with it mate, just remember to read and understand each question and think about them practically and you'll be fine.Kez wrote:
So my practical test is tomorrow yayyyyyyyy! (7 months too late if I'm honest!!!!) Has anyone passed on their first attempt?
Its tempting to high-beam dickheads but rarely achieves anything apart from more hassle and risk.mcminty wrote:

This happened to me last friday - here is a text I sent to one of my friends..ok. Well. Heading towards city on M2. 100km/h, light rain, downhill going under epping road (near lane cove tunnel). It's different in Ireland. Especially in rural towns in like mine. I don't go any further than Swords/Donabate (around 30 min drive) and Balbriggan (30 mins the opposite direction). I know the roads like the back of my hand and I've never ever had a near-crash.baggs wrote:
