You live in England, yes? How many millions of people died under English colonial rule? Quit being an idiot. Seriously. People die every day. Where are the millions of people that died under Stalin, or Pol Pot or any other nation for that matter. No countries hands are clean. Hell, how many people were stolen from, raped or murdered by Norwegians during the Viking Age? Please. You hate America, that's cool. We get it. It's the cool thing to do.rammunition wrote:

i'm sure if i attempted to engage you, yes, you'd call me that a few times.
No, america is probably the only nation that hasn't been pressed on its genocides. The U.S hasn't stopped attacking since the end of WW2 in the name of the disgusting "American freedom". Yet Iran and N.Korea are the terrorist nations, roflJohnG@lt wrote:

We've never committed a genocide or people like you would've dragged us in front of The Hague. People like you seriously disgust me. You'd trade away all your freedoms in order to have the illusion of controlling others. Free will has made you miserable so you wish to make everyone else miserable. Go play in traffic.

Its not us who wanted the offence shield on Europes borders.
its not us who has dragged everyone into a illegal war
its not us who has broken international law on human rights
its not us who has threatened countries who don't obey what we say
its not us who say we can kidnap citizens in other countries

Ok, so we'll go back to being isolationist then. You going to accuse us of not stopping the next Kosovo then? Will you be happy when we pull all of our military back within our borders and don't come out unless the UN has every single member nation vote to have us intervene somewhere? Good luck.rammunition wrote:

Edit - While we're at it we'll pull out of the UN too and kick it out of New York City. It's just a waste of money for us to pay to maintain it and provide security anyway.

China, France and Russia are countries who i trust far more. They don't force their views on others and do not threaten people who don't bow down 5 times a day and face their direction.

Right, and most of the problems of today weren't caused by the British or French. How many millions of Africans died because of the French? Hell, Rwanda is their fault. The British are at fault for the entire middle east and apartheid in South Africa as well as most of the slave trade into the US and the killing of the Native Americans (Spain is just as if not more guilty of this). China current government has the blood of millions of it's own people on it's hands but it's cool to ignore it to make your point. Russia is run by the Russian mafia but spawned Stalin in the not so distant past.rammunition wrote:

Interesting that ramm assumes no right winger would've come to power in his fantasyland.
The Islamic revolution didn't magically appear in 26 years under the Shah. It was simmering away for quite some time. There is no guarantee that it wouldn't have occurred otherwise or that fundamentalist leadership wouldn't have been elected with the demographic shift in the population that would have occurred regardless of the Shah being in power or not.
As to the US/Iran relations...who is doing the punching? I'm fairly certain that had the Iranians not held our citizens captive for 444 days at the start of the revolution there, our relations would've gotten off on a much better foot. Perhaps if Iran weren't sponsoring terrorist organizations hell-bent on killing our people, our relations would've gotten off on a much better foot. Perhaps if Iran didn't refer to us as "the Great Satan" all the time...
Iran isolated itself, tbh. They chose to look inward after the revolution as part of their focus on the Islamic Republic. That doesn't lend itself to good relations with anyone.
That precludes a right winger from coming into power, since they couldn't be a right winger and a left winger simultaneously.rammunition wrote:
Also no doubt a left winger would have got in
Can you? (see how only a single question mark is sufficient to denote the interrogatory nature?)rammunition wrote:

Clearly not. Are you?rammunition wrote:

I said there would have been a more higher chance a left winger would have come into power.
And what would've happened had Iran held their Islamic revolution and simply had a revolution? Changed governments and that been it? Not held our people captive for 444 days? Not supported terrorists the way they did and do? Not taken active steps to isolate themselves regionally and globally?rammunition wrote:
Who's doing the punching??? well the US/UK threw the first punches when they decided to ruin the DEMOCRACY IN IRAN for oil. Whats happened since is a result of it. All those things you mentioned are a result of hatred produced because of what the US/UK did.
Those steps were choices made by the Iranian government, not driven by anyone else.

I love the "greatest thread ever in this forum", specifically because there are so many people attempting to debate ramm on the topic and it is all ignored.
Yet the greatest thread keeps resurfacing...with the same results...ignored by ramm.
