Nice, nice. What's the sound like? and how much would you be looking at for those?.Sup wrote:

Haven't found a dealer so I didn't hear them yet (Monitor Audio dealer used to be 3KM away from me buy they've closed). Its relatively affordable - looking at 700€ (pair). Then I also need cables-300€ (bi-wired), amp-1500€. The only thing that is turning me off is that they are rear ported. Since I want to place them close to the wall sound damping is a must.TSI wrote:

What about Behringer MS40? They any good? I can get them delivered for €134. I like the look of the Behringers tbh.TSI wrote:
Mcminty: you got it.
IGR: Tannoy is pretty good too, I haven't really had the chance to listen to them a huge amount. If you like the sound of them, go for them. I just like the sound of the Ms myself.
Behringer is low end. I wouldn't go for itIrishGrimReaper wrote:

Run a GPU intensive program on the other monitor, and switch it offGC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

edit: well I could disable it in theory... haxoring the BIOS and disabling it myself... but flashing the cards BIOS effectively voids its warranty too so no thanks.
Edit, found it.Sup wrote:

Eh I got one monitor, and I don't have onboard video because my mobo isn't some garbage model low end.Finray wrote:

Or switch to onboard video?
I would have though that onboard is a good thing, not a feature put onto low end mobos, rather a feature kept off low ends to keep it cheap.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:
