So might it be possible to replace the GPU in my last screenshot with this and still be able to play BF:BC2 and use it as a HTPC?
If I were you, I gladly pay the 30 bucks more for HD 5770.Narupug wrote:

Q: Can I delete my second partition (Z:\) and extend my win7 system partition onto the then unallocated space? 100gb just is too small...
Yes.. Personally I use Gparted for it,, But I heard Vista & Win7 had disk management systems built in,,,SonderKommando wrote:

Sell my Samsung 226BW and get a BenQ 2420HDBL, what do you reckon?
Nah. I have a 2420, and it's really rather shit. OK for a 180€ screen, but I wouldn't ditch a Sammie for one. Even if the Samsung is smaller.Sydney wrote:

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

I wasn't even sure if sheep liked Apple ... so I Googled:
So based on my research: Lots of sheep will buy Apple's tablet.

I must have something wrong with my sense of humor.. I couldn't even muster a smirk after seeing ^that. Twice now.

Screwed up my Cruzer Titanium USB stick. I didn't do the usual "Safely remove" routine. Now it's asking me to format. Anyone know of any recover tools? Disk Management still reporting both partitions, but 100% free for both.
So, save up and buy a T260?Freezer7Pro wrote:

Yep, but does have a lot more horses. Not only that but the fact the cpu usage percentages are way up too.Morpheus wrote:

yea, i understand all that, but, for me, smoothness is key... not to mention that he looked kinda stoopid for saying how smooth it ran when vista, in fact, ran smoother...GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

Don't get me wrong, i love my 7, it's just that this tech demo seemed to favor vista.

it didn't favor really, unless you say something being smoother running half the settings quilifies as that?Morpheus wrote:

You've played online games, yes? Would you rather the game not lag, or look nice?
Everytime it pauses, I'm thrown out of the game/video/demo/whatever, and it's annoying to me.

You honestly think it would still run shit if it had samedetail level as Vista?Morpheus wrote:

The bench they ran is based on algorithm to determine the detail level obviously very agressively.
