Jesus! That thing is enormous, is that commercially available?
I think it is, but the cooler sucks despite its gigantic size.Rebus wrote:

What I don't get is why doesn't it fuck a mobo up when you slap it in a case? Surely with all the weight hanging off of it something's gotta give?GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

the fins look to have pretty big spacing, so it wont contain as much metal as some others.Rebus wrote:

Yeah it looks pretty bad, but even worse is the ancient motherboard its on; the serial ports it has.

KILL IT WITH FIRE
And then get a T220
And then get a T220
Eyefinity, fuck yeah.
Also note the FPS, it was like that constantly at 2560x1024

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
Yeah, aiming is kinda suck. Hoping to get a third with xmas money, so the crosshair is in the middle, not inbetween two screens.Freezer7Pro wrote:

Or find a way to offset the crosshair onto one or other monitor.
Maybe they'll start making monitors with really thin borders or no borders at all, until then, multiple monitor setups will always be annoying and suck
Your screenshot may look nice but I bet it all looks awful IRL
You're better off having one really good 30" monitor

I was only experimenting tonight, it's kinda useless with only two monitors, for FPS at least. Once I get a third I might use it all the time, but until then, 1x5:4 will have to do me.
true
I have a 24" on the one, 19" other.
Its nice for multitasking, and I can keep msn open and shit when I'm playing games.
I also connected my Xbox to the 24" monitor, so I can browse the web while I'm dead in Call of duty

One of or sites went down and I had them reroute the power to thier router and switch into another UPS as the main one had seemingly failed. I got the sites network back up, but i sent an email to the networking team here and the rest of upper IT management saying i would monitor the network activity on site till the end of my shit (meant shift).. suppose i should have used a spell checker before senidng that emial...
But shit is also a word.SonderKommando wrote:

sure is. but still. I just started this job like two months ago, trying to NOT look like a retard.
I just have far too many of these. I have another five that aren't on the picture.

Can anyone recomend me good 5.25 HDD mountings with proper rubber sides? I am moving my HDDs there for more room and better cooling to my upcoming gfx setup.

Mount using elastic bands. Ask your mom for some
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
Black zip-ties over the top of fat rubber bands. Take your time with them and they can look great. Cut the rubber bands if you need to, they're just for anti-vibration. The zip-ties hold them in place. I wish I had pictures of a setup I did a while back...
Sober enough to know what I'm doing, drunk enough to really enjoy doing it
