Rest in hell, you horrible, horrible, ricer case.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
What was it?

TURBO-SKROT
wow that is bad

It's my garbage computer. It just barely works. The look of the old case was the result of many evenings of boredom, and a powerful urge to make it uglier.Lucien wrote:

Installing the Windows 7 upgrade that finally got shipped to my house.
I have that case.
LOL Turbo Scrote.
Fuck Microsoft/Toshiba. There are currently NO wireless network drivers for Windows 7 that work with this laptop and yet they decided to offer the update anyway.

I don't think so - the SCC or something like that.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

Impressive. 125w and 48-cores. Although I fear the single thread performance is not on par with the normal offering, strictly for number crunching. And costs arm, leg, left nut and liver.

Nevertheless, commerically available, IA-32 compatible, 48-core CPUs is an interesting prospect...GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

The power juggling systems seem most impressive. May see interesting mobile developments along the same lines....
Ohh, I wants.
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

So. . .
A few days back Newegg had the Coolermaster Stacker 830 for 130 w/free shipping so I bought one. I also picked up 6 120 mms for the fan slots.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6811119122
Any ideas on fan placement? Obviously, front fan will be intake (though mostly blocked by my HDD's), top and back will be exhaust.
For the four in the door - I have heard that two in two out is a good arrangement, but I have also heard this can "short circuit" the fans. I also read that if all four or exhaust, it will pull air through the back of the case, over the mobo, and out. Other people suggest all four push air into the case.
Any thoughts?
