Can't decide between these two laptops, main difference is the processor but for some reason the cheaper option comes with more V-RAM, RAM and hard drive space. Any idea which would be better for running games? (Or are there better options for roughly the same price?)

I'd type my pc specs out all fancy again but teh mods would remove it. Again.

Are Samsung and Dell still the go-to guys for LCD monitors? I'm looking for something in the 21"-24" range.. Have a 24" at work (HP LP2465) and I'm really loving the extra work area it gives compared to the non-widescreen 19" I have at home.

Well you might as well upgrade if you're going to go to the trouble of buying a new card. A comparable 6xxx card to the GTX460 SE is the HD6790. But since you're waiting for 7xxx you might as well buy a HD6870 in my opinion.
