nah, don't worry about it, after shipping I'd just as well get a new card that would get me similar results after the fact. I'd also have to throw my 1k watt PSU in my comp which is quite old, will run up the electric bill, might have to replace etc etc
No worries then chief. Just thought i would throw that option out thereBevo wrote:

for a fatty you're a serious intellectual lightweight.
Fixed it by reinstalling video drivarz.Finray wrote:
Weird bug I've noticed with Opera:
Constantly feels like low fps, scrolling is jerky, letters aren't coming up as soon as I press the keys, etc
but when I grab the bar at the top, pull down to un-fullscreen, then push it to the top to full screen again, it fixes it for like .. 3 seconds. Then it's back to low fps.
Anyone experienced this or got any ideas?
Thinking about the 570. Worth an extra $20 for a superclocked version? I dunno much about changing clock speeds on GPUs. I know nothing, really.
It's as simple as installing a program and sliding a bar.
Look at the speeds on the spec. Is $20 worth an increase of 5% ?Bevo wrote:

Take into account the PSU consumption will rise, and if overclocked too far will become unstable. However, direct from the manufacturer overclocks are quality imo.

Both the "superclocked" version and the normal clock have "797MHz core clock", but the superclocked version has a bit higher clock on memory and shaders. Can those be adjusted as well via utility?

You can change the memory clock not sure on the shaders tbh.
Had this weird thing happen with my keyboard a few times in the last 4 days or so. Googling has not been helpful at all because all it brings up is "derp my shitty laptops keyboard stopped working" yahoo answers crap.
What happens is (this only happens in games as far as I know) it will for a brief period of about 5 seconds stop responding and will repeat the last keypress (normally W - ie. keep running forward). If I mash the keys when this happens I get these strange subdued beep sounds through my headphones (not very loud) and then it comes good and everything is fine. Has been happening in multiple different games so no one game is the problem. I have a Razer Lycosa for reference, so it isnt key ghosting or anything.

Try a different keyboard.

What's a good asking price for a used i7 950 processor and eVGA GTX 580 1536mb? (Both are 6 months old)
The interested parties are friends, so I'm not trying to squeeze every penny I can from them, but I want the price to be fair to all involved.
I was thinking $160 for the processor (paid $200)** and $400 for the card (paid $500), which would be a 20% discount on both...
Too much? Too little?
**I know that technically the chip sells for more, but the potential buyer knows what I paid for it and what a good deal it was....

$160 sounds very reasonable for an i7 950. You can get a brand new GTX580 for ~$460(-$30 in rebate) now so you might have to go a touch lower than $400.-CARNIFEX-[LOC] wrote:
