Yea MS closed down the work around. Probably for drm reasons. The zune software is perfectly functional for getting the music on the player. I find mm and music bee better organizers though. Especially if you're missing tags. MS also took away the ability to skin the software. I know that is just a cosmetic issue, but I personally liked that ability.Zimmer wrote:

Some of it comes down to design choices. If all the extraneous detail on your screen is screaming "LOOK AT ME" above and beyond what you're supposed to be paying attention to, the designers haven't really done their job. I don't think my Droid X is underpowered compared to the average phone. It's just not as fast going from playlist to playlist vs a a Zune or iPod touch (I have both). I've also tried every major player in the app store. (I found PlayerPro to be the best for me btw). There's just a noticeable difference between playing from an sd card and using an mp3 players built in drive. I have about the same amount of music on my phone. Sure it works, but it's not very 'snappy'. Also, I noticed if you dump a whole bunch of music on your phone it takes a little bit for it to properly populate. Sometimes it will list the song, but if you try to play it before it's ready it will say "this device can not play this type of file" .. or "doesn't support it". Something like that.tazz. wrote:

It's all on the 16GB SDCard, works fine...
Although I do use it on shuffle in the car, and that's about it.
