Yeah, somewhat similar here. I'm leaning toward getting two 6870's to crossfire since my 925 can't play Fallout 3 at full maximum settings.

But hesitant until I can get some BF3 recommended specs.

Yeah i had the same dilema. Is it really worth it to go the route of two card and do SLI? Or should one do me just fine? I wanna be able to rape bf3 settings and future proof my system for a bit. Also should an 800watt psu go well with the new sandy bridge cpu 2 gpu's and 8 gigs of ram? I know newegg has a calculator but i like to get some more info.

800W is fine for dual cards. Hell, you can run 4 GTX 480s off a 1KW.
