He said don't get me started on Chrome .. "multiple process for each tab". Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't that put in there so that multiple core machines could take advantage of their multiple threads?.. aka distributing the load. Chrome has it's own task manager, right click on the top bar and open it. I know you can also change this in chrome if you so desire.

Yea... who are we talking about here?Kmar wrote:

lol.. i know, i setup my own icons. If i want to waste more time ill make more rows/columns.
Xbone Stormsurgezz
Yea, that's the problem. Setting up the icons. I don't want it to display the page, but I can't figure out how to get the custom icons working....Kmar wrote:

right click on the dial> edit> upload what you want to use somewhere (tinypic). Paste in it dial image url
Xbone Stormsurgezz
Yea.... i tried that using the url for the site's favicon.... lol. I'll have to try it with photobucket. Didn't want to do that yet, as that'll make me want to edit each image first, lol...
EE (hats
I just google imaged whatever site logo and used a program called zscreen (awsm) to upload it. It gave me an instalink.
Xbone Stormsurgezz
Yea.
That's basically what I'm doing.... except with GIMP.

zcreen is just for capturing images/screenshot and uploading/saving them. It's one of the best at what it does. It's not an image editor tho.
Xbone Stormsurgezz
Yea, which is why i'll not bother. I've already got the google screen capture add-on, so once it's on my computer, i'll just edit it and upload to photobucket.
EE (hats
Thats fine so long as everything you need to capture remains in the browser . One of the big features for me is the fact that it keeps a history. I upload things and often lose the links. Hotkeys are a plus also.
Xbone Stormsurgezz
ah, i see... interesting.

zscreen is great, i use it far too much
i wish it had direct file upload though
