Less than 480 would be safe bet. There is no hole in the PCB for cool air intake, no exterioir metal shroud or visible heatpipes.

turns out there's no processor in the intel box. no chip. just a heatsink. somebody has taken the chip.

the 6870 is a pretty nice piece of kit, though. the exterior casing on the ATI hardware makes my nvidia 8800GTX's look all small and weedy

the factory sealed tape was broken. all the seals on all the separate boxes were, in fact, but ive checked the rest.

the CPU isn't already seated in the mobo, either, before somebody asks

however here is a shitty iphone pic. the quality is terrible because there's no natural light in my room, so it lightened it to try and increase clarity. it didn't. but oh well, i am not opening the blinds today as i have a fucking hor-ri-fic hangover
