Not only does it have tubes, but it also has transistors, both Germanium AND silicon (Germanium transistors are very old transistors, and inferior to silicon ones in almost every way). I've never seen a device that uses all three of those before.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
HD5 AF is broken, and they never fixed it, never even admitted it... Now they market HD6 with new feature, working AF!

Stick it in a bowl of rice for a few days.
Or just buy a new one with a bigger capacity. They're dirt cheap.

As long as you haven't plugged it into anything it should be fine.RTHKI wrote:
my 4gb flash drive went through the washer. is there any hope for it?
Might wanna flush it out with ispropyl alcohol or destilled water before putting it in the rice bowl. That'll clean out most bad oxides and other garbage that might grow in it when it got wet.RTHKI wrote:

Is Chrome crashing for everyone a lot today? Turned it on and the thing is crashing every second. Turning off sync seems to have helped a bit...

Chrome just always crashes for me, no matter on what install or PC I use. Such a shame because it's an amazingly fast browser
