Tbh money no object, for the average user I'd have to say the iPhone 4 is the best one out today
Whatabout Droid phones?
I love my Android.
Lots.
Lots.
Torch >>>>> Iphone 4. In so many ways its ridiculous. All iphone users ive talked to are jealous of my phoen
So you've said, but I still see no reasons as to why.
Not that I find it hard to believe that it bests an iPhone.

Sexy screen, great OS, PHYSICAL KEYBOARD, BBM, touchscreen and trackpad for tiny buttons (really, really useful), very sleek interface. it has a pretty good app store too, though thats not really a big concern of mine. pretty neat integration with fb, twitter, myspace too

There's a samsung smart phone that a mate @ uni has.
The screen is by far the best i've ever seen in ANY hand held device.
incredible contrast.

Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
Samsung Omnia is pretty sweet. It's a fullscreen smartphone.
the g1 looks like it was made with children's lego. with a little bit of knex thrown in there. the bb is sleek and sexy.Morpheus wrote:

i think the torch has a new app store... for OS 6, yknow? there are quite a few good ones but tons of bad ones too, just like any app storeCamm wrote:

The G1 is also 3 years old and was essentially a prototype at the time. Cut it some slack. The newer Android phones are gods, though.

Design of a phone doesnt really depend on when it was made if you're talking within the past 5 years. My instinct is nearly 3 years old now and looks much nicer than the G1, same with the original iphone.
Meh. that's your opinion... i like it.
Anyway, I'm looking to upgrade to the G2 when my contract is up.

it has a qwerty keyboard, that you simply drag you finger to the keys, instead of having to actually type them. And even if you're off slightly, it still knows the word you wanna type.

Samsung Galaxy S?
Thats what my dad had... until it fried itself. My friend had one and it committed suicide as well
Its a beautiful screen, shame theres something about them that makes them want to kill themselves...
Oh and I think you're thinking of Swype for the keyboard thingy
