i got an RCA cable from bestbuy, it sounds like absolute shite. the noise coming out is terrible. Audio card/onboard card doesn't seem to make a difference.

Would switching to a TRS cable help? I'm probably going to go to frys tomorrow.

edit: shitballs! I connected the 1/8th to my ipod and it had very little noise. What's going on?

edit: my left speaker sounds muted. what the fuck.

The audio card aux out is shite

I was reading on another site about setting up monitors and he/she said that a creative xFi should be just peachy.

Also any thoughts about one speaker sounding muted? Is it not getting enough power?
