My point stands.

The misshapen start to that arrow would piss me off to no end.

Can you not see that the bottom right of the arrow isn't done right?

Err, that's how it's meant to be? It's a soft start to the shadow..

Are you trying to say it's not done right because it's not the same as the Windows one?

What the fuck would be the point in having different cursors if they were all done in the same style as the windows default ones? lol

Oh dear God...

I have work, now, so I can't go into detail about why it's drawn badly, but just trust me on this.

I'm with Link on this one. The Ubuntu cursor just looks... scewed. Like if you were using 1280x960 on a 1280x1024 screen.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

I think the Ubuntu one is meant to be curled slightly.

I just received some Kingston RAM as an RMA, and the PCB is half the height, and has RAM chips only on one side.

They do that. Saves PCB. Shouldn't complain, you potentially get better airflow.

I was actually amazed how much smaller they are. They'll be going in my budget HTPC build.

I will take a window mounted unit over an in-dash one anyday... after 2-3 years it will be so outdated you will want to replace it, but you can't if it is in-dash

Wants to waste his money and hear *BOJOINGGG* every time he press the buttons...

Argument of because it is durable is invalid, I have still spent 1/5th of that money on keyboards in next 20 years... (this current one is like 6 years old, wouldn't surprise if it lasted to 10... and costed me 25€ for 2 keyboards)

That classic IBM original is different story. It is just so cool because its a legend.

Mechanical keyboards are far superior to membrane boards, as you feel every key stroke a hundred times better. You don't need to think about missing strokes, ever.
