I can certainly find samsung LCD monitors that can match it's performance at same size & resolution for the same price...Sydney wrote:

LED backlight probably gives you worse picture, as LEDs usually have a more wavy colour spectrum than CCFLs.FloppY_ wrote:

I hope you realize that "LED" monitors are just LCD monitors with LEDs for backlight. OLED screens, on the other hand...FloppY_ wrote:

Take the latest 32" monitors from samsung, the LED has some color distortion where the LCD is crystal clear
yes, I merely stated that on the top shelf samsung 32" LED vs (regular)LCD the LED has color distortions...Freezer7Pro wrote:

But they're so much less strain on your eyes. I far prefer working on LED backlit displays. My eyes get fucked up enough staring at screens, anything that helps that is good.Freezer7Pro wrote:

My point is, that, being an isolated piece of ice in the middle of the sea, everything is a lot more expensive here.
Take for example the 2443BW, let's assume €50 for shipping, and €20 for the customs, plus the 25.5% VAT.
That would make it €389,
