you still got draw time+cant shoot if you wanna go prone and shoot accurately simultaneously you gotta get a sniper/lmg/pistol or wait like half a sec w/ carbine

With the AR's your best switch to your pistol then back to the rifle when going prone.

Other guns you're best off just going prone because of how quick the guns that aren't ARs correct themselves.
