Because iTunes will not sync with my android device and doubltwist (what i sync with) will not play nice with last.fm. I think mediamonkey will do both. So i'll try it. As far as playlist, I still like to have them with certain genres. When I am working out I like radio styled listening.

sooo.. MediaMonkey turns out a very capable solution for my one-application does all solution. It's not quite as polished as itunes imo. iTunes seems to do a better job at filling in the blanks. I also lose the abilty to wirelessly sync I had with doubletwist. But mm is certainly not horrible. I was worried that I would lose some data when importing from itunes. .. but so far so good.

oh yea, some tracks were imported twice but I just deleted the extra instances.

Yeah I fiddled with MM for a couple hours yesterday, I might use it once I find a skin I like. I've been playing with a few of the custom ones from what but havent found one I really liked and worked fully yet.

This one is nice and integrates last.fm nicely

oops, mixed them up lol. another mm skin somewhere here, ill find the link later... its 4am

but it actually wasnt bad to install, just couldnt get one aspect of it working and its confusing as hell to use. looks pretty though

It's fine on the eyes when maximised. In a small screen it looks horrible. It's one of the better themes, unfortunately. Spotify is nice as well, but I like a white theme.

Unfortunately Last.fm stats get a bit blurry after about 6 months with individual tracks. I'm not entirely sure why, but they're not an accurate display of what I've been listening to individually over the past 6 months.

I don't know why this is if they can record every single time you listen to a song.

For example, MM shows that I Believe In You - Vertical Horizon (I went through a bad phase) has been played 77 times on my computer. Whereas it shows I've only played it 32 times on Last.fm. Now I had a cut for about 1 week due to the plugin ceasing to work (new installation) but that doesn't count for 45 counts of the song being missed. It's not 100% accurate, which annoys me.

I've seen it screw up on ipod imports too. One of my friends had a song last.fm said she played a few hundred times yet only played once or twice. Its happened more than once for her as well

after noting the time yea, that is the best I can figure as well. You see, i have an iPod touch, but it refuses to work with last.fm.. so I wouldn't know .

Mine is quite finnicky. You can try to force it to scrobble by going help -> diagnostics -> ipod scrobble on the last.fm application

I did that. I read a lot of people having trouble with 3gen touches. I spent so much time with it, I finally gave up. I'm using my droid x primarily now anyways. Doubletwist scrobbles just fine.

1) lol, I know for a fact that I haven't played You Be Killin 'Em that many times in a row But I do have 17 total plays on iTunes which helps explain that.

I like Kanye and certainly did listen to his album a lot when it came out, but I don't like him THAT much!

2) iPod scrobbing from my iPhone Now that I don't have a PC I don't plug my iPhone in as much, I'm typically charging it on my iHome at college or on the wall adapter at home. I'll only plug it in to update apps/put on new music which is about every 2 weeks or so. I think one of my recent mass-scrobbles had like 144 plays, so that's why.

I would imagine your iPhone would be scrobbling as you play since you have a constant 3g connection. No need to dump like the iPod does .. er supposedly.

in terms of the rapping, holy god yes... I didn't really like her that much before but after that, wow. She went hard

although her solo album is... eh. she's a good feature on tracks, dunno about her as the main title though
