lovestep is closer to future-garage, and is only similar to dubstep in the 2-step beat.... in which a whole fuckload of genres are basically the same as dubstep, cause 2-step is a pretty common rhythm. non, nein, no. there are no similarities between the likes of pangaea and synkro as there are to caspa and rusko (there's even 10-15BPM difference in tempo for chrissakes, they're that dissimilar)

also androo the reason i asked is cause there's a fucking massive dubstep recommendation at the top of this page

i think it's the motivation for not knowing what you're talking about that is decisive... i.e. all the contrived people trying to 'find out' about dubstep, it's insincere as hell. they're only trying to find out what it is and get into it because they think it'll help their image or help them fit in to some ultra-cool new cabal... when really that sort of thing doesn't exist. just a lot of true fans suspiciously looking at a bunch of posey-bitches on dancefloors all over bristol and london.
