Hi, please help and offer suggestions.

£50 at the very most, not from an online retailer.

As the title suggests I am after some Wireless Headphones for my New PS3.  My television isn't HD and is a FAT screen, must be one of those CRT tele's.  Its a big bugger and weighs a tonne.  But is a widescreen I think.

I havent a clue where to start.  Do I pop up to Curries?  Comet? That kind of place.

Do I need to provide you guys with my TV serial number or w/e to work out if its compatible?

I do have Logitech 2.1 speakers plugged into my currently redundant pc, will they work with the PS3?

I dont want my housemates (room above mine) to hear me playing on it and neither do I want to disturb Mollie on the nights she sleeps over at mine.  Yeah I can play with the volume down low but I couldn't hear whatever instructions I was getting last night on one of the games.

Im open to all suggestions and any PS3 advice in general as I'm new to it, I did have a PS1, but skipped number 2.

Your TV should have a Line-out socket, and your speakers should have a line-in. You need a cable like this, to go from your TV to your speakers.

That'll be about £3, you can get it pretty much any electronic store.

As for headphones, see if you can get some Sennheiser ones, again, from your local electronic store. Don't know if they'll stock them, but if not just get some from online. Just pick whatever is in your budget, they're all really good.

You can then plug your headphones into the TV or into your speakers, if it has a port for headphones.

I can't buy them online due to not being able to use any of my bank accounts due to the ex and hsbc.  Richer Sounds could be an idea eh?

To be honest mate you'd get 200% better quality for 50% the price if you go for wired. Do you really need wireless?

I priced up wireless/cordless headphones yesterday and then started at £35 (cant buy online).

I ended up getting some Philips ones with a 6m cord for £12.95, that will be fine for my room, as mentioned its just to play without waking housemates or Mollie up.

Thanks for the help given but I think I made the right choice, I can put the extra money saved towards a game or something else now.
