Actually, there are a lot of calendars at least equally as good. Maya's had three if I recall correctly: long count, which ends in 2012, regular agricultural (about 365 days), and a ritual calendar of 280 days. Last one was bloody brilliant, took European scholars ages to discover it was just the exact average human pregnancy. Chinese calendar is also very good and personally I have a thing for the orthodox calendar too, but that's just nostalgia on my part.CammRobb wrote:
