Just because that master gunnery sergeant (gimped sergeant major) had 50,000 points doesn't mean they didn't change the ranks. He could have gotten the rank at 40,000. An argument for this being the case would be that the one guy has 2nd lieutenant at 74,xxx (under 75,000) in which case there would be a gap of 30,000 points between first sergeant (20,000) and sergeant major (50,000), but a gap of 20,000 or maybe even less between sergeant major (50.000) and 2nd lieutenant (appears to be around 70,000). That would not make much sense.

Oh, and on top of that there are all the people getting extra unlocks recently. Unlocks are given upon an increase in rank so everyone that is getting free unlocks could be looking at a rank up on patch day.

chill man. i read ur post and it didnt say the 1,000,000 is an indicated counter. and i only clicked one link, basically the highest one, colonel and saw that it was 1,000,000. i didn't check the other ones which would have told me all the other ones were 1,000,000 too and that it was only an indicator or default thing or something...

Maybe with the new addition of ranks they are going to redo the points need to go up in rank for each level. In addition they are already talking about another add on after the euro-pack. what i read was that the next one is to be three maps in the US. If so more unlocks are bound to be in coming for the higher ranks and Me i am crossing my fingers for another kit or two.

I like the idea of lowering the point gaps between SGM and 2nd LT so those of us who don't play an average of 6+ hours a day can stay competitive in the ranks arena.

BUT, if I'm reading it right, the highest rank of MG is only a required 200K Global Score. I would of thought that they would of went all the way up to Genral of the Army/Corps at like 500,000 or 750,000. Especially since there are currently 38 players over 200K and the remaining top 100 will be there, I assume, before the second boster pack comes out.

Oh well I guess, atleast there making some changes for the better....

i would say - 50K for 2nd Lt.

up to 150K for Major

200k General...

and 1000K for Gerneral of the Army

Guys, Don't take these scores as figures for the ranks after the patch. The only reason why they are probably so low is just to test. If they had made them higher they would be too obvious on the leaderboards (check 'm up in BFHQ, you can also see them there)

One thing that does get my interest is badges.
Check Major General: All vehicles on expert and all kits on expert.
Brigidier General: all vehicles on expert
Colonel: all vehicles on expert

Could these be requirements as well?
