so i shot my self in the foot and bought the SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100269VXLE 4890, little did I know its openGL 2.0, the step above the SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100269VXL(no e) is openGL 3.0 and clocked higher (ripoff)


is openGL3 vastly superior or am I worried about nothing? still running DX9 on XP

Graphical difference on openGL games (Which aren't that many...)

I think that is loads of bollox. AFAIK all HD 4xxx support OpenGL 3.0
