its called the union flag, and since the UK isnt a country as such, it's not a national flag. in it are the flags of england and scotland, and an old irish one. which is why it doesnt really include n.ireland or wales.

No it's not Hurricane, the United Kingdom is the landmass that encompasses England, Scotland and Wales (each countries in their own right). It doesn't even include Northern Ireland.
Pretty sure the UK includes NI. That's what makes it the UK instead of Great Britain.
