you have an eye for photography, keep at it even if you have another career.
a friend at work was approached as he took pics at the track (Miller MotorSports, 2009 World Superbike) by the sponsor of one of the riders.
was offered a fair price for action shots, sight unseen. he had to write his e-mail addy on a napkin, so . . .
I find it more interesting when photographers capture the spectators in the moment as well.
