BF2S Forums Reserved spots. got one? I hate you

I think it sucks too, but I just try and avoid those servers.

just get a reserved slot then, or find servers that arent full...

Uhhh, they have it dude.  When you bring up the server browser screen there is a (x) with a number in it next to the number of joined/allowed player numbers.  If it is 0 there are no reserved slots.  If there is a number there, that is the number of reserved slots on the server.

And to KMWA, you need to grow the fuck up.  I don't care if you paid for the game and the expansion, these people are paying big bucks, out of their own pockets, to host these servers and are under no obligation to have a spot available to you, just because you think you are ENTITLED to play on any server you want, whenever you want.  If you want a reserved slot, then find a server that is willing to take on another partner to pay for the server.  Then you will have a reserved spot on that server and can be guaranteed a spot.  Until then, STFU!!!

Also, some one correct me if I'm wrong because I haven't admined a BF2 server, but most tools that allow slot reseration still allow the server to fill up to the maximum allowed players, even if they aren't on the reserved list.  It just ensures that those players on the reserved list will have a spot if the server is full, so some one would get kicked in that case.  For example I've joined servers that had 50 total spots, 48 people joined, and 4 reserved slots.

I am annoying you, eh?  My correct thinking is annoying?  I never payed for a reserved slot, because I rarely play in just one server at a time.  But a month ago I found a nice Wake 24/7 server with no reserved slots.  Which contradicts your first state of there being no servers with no reserved slots.
