Yo Kerry, I won't bother quoting you.. and I've skipped a lot of posts... But have you tried another timelapse yet?
Oh, and while that storm was fast moving, even tho the interval was 30 seconds.. you could make it work if you had a shutter speed of 15 seconds It just wouldn't look that great. ><
Once you have exported the .mov or .avi from QTPro, you could use Vegas (or whatever) to speed up the timelapse (if you want). This way you can control the speed, but still get the same quality and characteristics that a faster interval gives.
