i'm having the same problem with vetren explosive got it twice and yet says i have not got it once.
i did however get veteran first aid first go (play wake island to get it).

That must suck. Never has happened to me. On bf2player.com it shows that you have the vet first aid.

BFHQ should display it correctly. Our stats feed from EA is down though...
