I totally forgot to do anything special in my classes for Jimmy Carter dying. My assistant who is 60 asked me why I didn't do anything today. He was so old and so distant that it didn't even register to me that I should do something.
I thought about maybe putting on the funeral. So I watched about 5 seconds of it on Youtube and I was bored. I can't dump that shit on the students. No one needs that negativity 9:30 in the morning.
Why do funerals need to be so boring?
I don't want a trad Catholic funeral.
I want the most cosmopolitan celebration of life possible.
I would like a nice Mausoleum though.
