I don't live with my mom, and haven't for almost 20 years. I own 2 properties (one jointly with my mom, one on my own, where I currently live).

My hobbies are sports and traveling and learning. My goals in life are to help my immediate family be stable and to impact meaningful social change. Talk shit on me about those if you want to make me feel some kind of emotion.

I'm not a rent seeker, but I do have internal struggles with being a manager who's responsibility is to corporate interests instead of my workers. It helps shape my worldview. I also struggle with giving up some of my high standard of living to help others. It's easy for me to do on a transactional basis, but hard for me to reconcile holistically.

well don't focus too much on the individual. the ideas behind trump and sanders aren't going to die with them.

In the American political system the president, an individual, has a lot more power than your prime ministers. Individual personalities have a big effect on how the country runs. Reconstruction and thereby American history would have been a lot different if Lincoln didn't catch a bullet and his successor wasn't a southern Democrat from the same party that rebelled.
