It's a decent analogy actually, the only problem being that North Korea has nowhere near the power that Germany had.

After WWI germany had zero power. There was a great depression not long after. Hitler was considered a saviour only because of how badly the post WWI era had been for Germany.

They ramped up their military capabilities considerably though. NK probably has 10 nukes and a horse-drawn tank.

Has anyone thought of what would happen exactly if a war were to occur?  I mean could we destroy all their launch pads for their nuclear missiles before they had a chance to use them?

How many missiles could they shoot into South Korea or Japan before we got our missile defense systems in place?  Are they are in place now?

What about evacuation plans?

The aftermath too...what will China say when the United States gives Nuclear arms to South Korea and Japan...I would think it would be the equivalent of our Bay of Pigs???



If there was a conventional war against North Korea I would think alot of refugees would stream into China...and China wouldn't like that.
