I woke up... sorta... my eyes were open, I tried to get up, and I couldn't. It was as though I was paralyzed. I couldn't move anything, not my head, not my eyes, nothing. scariest shit I've experienced in my life man.... any1 else experience this? it lasted for what seemed like a couple minutes...

We have two other threads on this...

Yeah, fucking hate waking up to cramps. I get killer ones just under my jaw occasionally.

Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.
Never experienced sleep paralysis, although it is linked to lucid dreams and migraine, which I both had and have respectively.
I often have cramps in the calves though.
I automatically extend my foot until the cramp wears off and can fall back to sleep immediately.
Cramps are caused by a lack of magnesium, so keep a glass/bottle of mineral water next to your bed so you can drink before sleeping or whenever you wake up.
If that doesn't help, buy effervescent magnesium tablets. Don't take too much though, because magnesium is a laxative and could cause diarrhea.

ye..the worst thing is that you can't do anything because you are fucked up from sleeping, so just have to wait until it passes...Reciprocity wrote:

happened to me too, but it was aliens I was seeing.
Sleep paralysis is nothing, I've had it like 2 times in my life and both times I just thought to myself, "oh well, sleep paralysis" and just closed my eyes and relaxed. Nothing to worry about.
I imagine it'd be pretty scary if you didn't know what was happening to you.FrankieSpankie3388 wrote:

If you experience it with knowing what it is then sure it'd be kinda cool.
Fuck, I had that once. I stretched my leg so hard I though I was going to tear it off!globefish23 wrote:
