We're now having a better complicity than when we were married. Even more, (little background story of my son); He was arrested for making death menaces. He was bullied over and on a letter, like a daily journal for some, he got his anger out. To cut short, that sheet was found, dropped from his binder, on the classroom floor. Police got called, it was 2 weeks after the Dawson collège murder! God have her soul.
So psychology test were requested, and on the results there were no traces of bad feelings from our separation. The school and police mandated psys came to the same conclusion, we made a good job on this separation. When invited to the same partys, were just having fun teasing each other! We separated ourselve before we started hating each others.

Exterior is vinyl, maintenance is minimum. Unless like the previous owner put it's BBQ stove to close to the wall. The interior will eventually get a revamp. I have to replace the whole kitchen flooring, the ceramic is all cracked. Apparently the floor was not screwed enough. I'm thinking otherwise, it was not raised enough to make it a stable floor for ceramic. The inspector also tells me that if the glue is not spread evenly under the ceramic it can have the same effect. Anyway the major maintenance was done.JahManRed wrote:

I found that house. July 1st was coming fast and since February I had started looking for houses.
Made 4 promess of purchase on 4 different other houses but the other bidders had put more money than my offer.
Being a father of 2 boys you want to give'em shelter amongst other things. I was getting desperate to find.
On the house I found offer & counter offer are accepted by both me and the seller.
I also had the house inspected yesterday and nothing major came across.
However my agent want to negotiate the price down for some small repairs.
Dryer output, main electric panel not grounded, a few ceramic tiles broken and some others in the like. Really, nothing major.
The seller actually took care of his property in a way that I have nothing to do for the next 5 to 10 years.
Except maybe do the lawn. Makes me think of that pic of Eastwood "Keep off my lawn!" I saw yesterday.
I'm already approved at the bank, I just need to get my cash from my ex and to go at the Notary to legalise the transaction and I'm done!
So on the national day, July 1st, I will have a house for me and my kids. Can't wait!
