While a 2142 DLC would be nice too, integrating futuristic weapons to the main game would be very odd.
Also, it would have much lower player numbers, since many people dislike the futuristic/sci-fi genre.

I'm actually kinda disappointed. Shifty had gotten a bit better in my books, shows he's really serious about joining the marines with the PT he's doing, finishing school and getting all that sorted out, has a full manual driving license, I no longer looked at him as a disillusioned kid, it actually looked like he knew what he was doing with his life (albeit a bit brainwashed with religion and home schooling). But now I learn he's still got his "every game I play has to be 100% realistic" outlook.. just disappointing.

There are a lot of guns, and I agree that the majority of people will only use a few of them, but I really enjoy the selection.

I'm trying to take every gun up to the first service star. So far, I've gotten 15 guns up to service star 1, so it's going to be awhile before I get the rest up to the same level. IDK, I'm a sucker for getting the unlocks and the associated dog tags.

The pistols do take a bit. I'm working on them now myself and have 7 starred. Not looking forward to the 1911s though. The rest are pretty fun though.

Yeah, I don't really have pistols high on the list to 1 star. I'm mostly focused on the main guns as those are a bit easier. I only use pistols when absolutely necessary, don't really run around with them.

Its got an annoying firecap but the damage makes it better.

Yeah but they are the only ones left so i have to run around with them.
It is quite fun tho, esp when shooting at long range targets.

RE: the Famas... I always remember that weapon as the one carried by GI JOE Codename: Dusty. It was a pretty cool looking weapon compared to the standard M16 toting Joe. He even used it with a bipod!
