XIM doesn't make you awesome on console, it just allows you to play.

I played BC2 on 360 with the XIM2 since it's release date, I was no better than when I was playing BF2 on PC....it just allowed me to control my player to my abilities (can't hit shit with a game pad). Sure I won some 1vs1 battles because of my turn speed and drop shot accuracy, but for the most part it was competitive.

I'm familiar with Shifty's situation as I was in the exact same when BC2 came out....A PC gamer that can't afford a capable PC so the next best thing is XIM.

You'll enjoy the XIM no doubt.

Not trying to get you to change your stance, just putting in my 2 cents. You said you can't play with a controller so you are getting something better.
If you ask people on here what makes PC gamers better that console gamers, I bet the number one response would be m&k.

It is downloading from the disc, it just says downloading for some reason. I got it on disc and I wasa getting 7.5MB/s download speeds. Somehow I don't think that was my normal aussie internet where I usually get ~150-200 kb/s. The only part that actually downloaded was the 400mb patch after the 11GB install.
