AMD have always produced shit drivers.

I'm on a 5970 HD 2gb and have the occasional driver failure watching a fucking youtube video.

Never had it crash during a game or anything intense, but youtube.

Still, I prefer AMD over to Geforce right now.

what is the error you are getting?

be aware that avira antivir flags bf3 as a trojan and quarenteens it. (because the exe is accessed via a webbrowser ala SOMETHING A VIRUS WOULD DO). fucking EA. The game is great if it wasn't for origin. On steam this would be great.

I just played Caspian Border and got booted after one round

a couple things

Why the fuck is the map view so horrible? I can't see a nice clear map that shows the overview of everything like where armor spawns and flag/team locations. It confuses me and makes this game less fun. I have to rely on the gay 3d map because the normal map looks like this.

And why do they make the stationary AA icon look like an armor icon? Whenever I was looking for armor I kept thinking those icons we tanks. Ran a far distance to get to it just to realize its AA.

And lastly. The armor disable shit is gonna make me not want to play this game. I'm getting shot at by 2 tanks. I attempt to back up and escape danger and end up getting my vehicle disabled and turn into a sitting duck. I jump out of the tank and start repairing in the middle of the fire since I got disabled and I end up getting killed by infantry that I didn't see then my tank gets blown up 2 seconds later when I could've backed up way more to avoid danger.

I don't have a face to express my rage over this beta so far.

disabling armour is an interesting addition to the game. I like it. Keep a couple engineers closeby, keep a couple other tanks with you and you won't have a problem with it. Keep the lonewolfing to infantry.

don't put yourself in that situation then. Your turret still works, you should have at least one other tank with you, and between the 2 tanks there SHOULD be at least 2 engineers. Shoot them while you get repaired, if you don't kill them they will at least back off with 2 tanks, maybe an AT shooting towards them. It's just promoting teamwork, use it to your advantage.

I'm just giving you an example of shit that can happen. Not everyone can have a convoy with them like that at all times. I know, I play in the armor all the time. You should be able to back out of danger without getting disabled like that. It's wack.

I understand what you're saying, but it's not like you're completely disabled, you just can't move. Get your gunner to jump out and try and get you moving again, and keep shooting so the other tank doesn't swamp you while it happens, hopefully you can get him to back off enough that you can move once your tracks are back up and retreat to safety. It's a neat mechanic which is trying to influence more teamplay into the game, in a subtle way.

People were always complaining about the lack of teamplay unless you were in clans or what-not. Soon enough people are gonna realise that tanks will have to buddy up if they want a good KDR, if nothing else. People will be forced to work together WITHOUT REALISING THEY ARE. It's still self, preservation, but in a way that you are helping the team too.
