Who thought that this would be better than an in-game menu? Who would think that clumsily switching between game and browser would be better than just starting up a game and having everything there?

the one constant over all battlefield games is shitty in-game browsers, even after a year of patches BC2's is still broken in a few ways. They seem to have tried to mix it up a bit for a change. Its okay at the moment imo, but really it should be made more seamless.

It is also incredibly difficult to make well functioning in-game social features, most games that have tried it just end up with buggy messes which nobody uses.

Metro is fucking awful. Why would they think this map was a good idea.

They used Oman as the demo map for BF2, and that was a pile of suck too

I wish i had a comp to run it. Played the 360 demo, fucking awful. Will not be wasting my money on it.

The weapons and kit selection is great. my only problem is the map and minor glitches and bugs.

If I could get in to a server that is ¬.¬

The downside to the Caspian servers is that you can hardly ever get into them. When a spot opens up, its gone before you can type in the password. When you actually do get in, its usually mid-round, and when the round ends, it seems everyone is booted from the server. I don't mind Origin, if only it didn't take an age to start up. Battlelog starts instantly, but it's a complete pain in the ass to find and join servers with. That and the aformentioned screwing up of my internet after a login failure.

I just think they've made everything overly complicated, instead of just firing up the game and finding a server. In BC2 I can be in a game in minutes, and if the servers full, I only have to wait a few more in the queue. They really need to tweak Battlelog if they're going to rely on it.

I like what I've played so far, will like it alot more on PC. The PS3 version is pretty good, though alot of glitches exist, one is when you quit midgame it doesnt send you back to main menu, it glitches so you have to quit the xbar and restart whole game. Otherwise I'm impressed, despite this awful map.

Oman was alright. I definitley wouldn't compare it to the boring bottleneck shithole that operation metro on rush mode is.

Oman was/is a good map, queers.

the funny thing about everyone whining about I/O on Metro is that the moment Karkand is rereleased it will be all they play.
