or some of the first times i attempted to fly jets. good times
I still suck at flying.
I ran around with a shotgun on Dragon Valley the first tome I played lol. Then I ended up playing Special Forces alot and got better.jord wrote:
i played dragon valley first just doing mong shit like waiting in a bush half the round aimed at the AA and going like 3-1 for an entire round.
Then I did a lot of sniping on fushee.
I think most of this was unranked and unpatched.

It was more of a wishful thought than predicting how the game will be played.jord wrote:
It wouldn't even happen in a clan match, the games mechanics just don't make 2 players "flanking" an enemy a valid tactic. "supression" slightly blurs your screen, so you if there's only 1 way an enemy can get to your position you just face that way and wait for them, or for their bellend mate to stop firing near you.

Because map designed forced everyone to concentrate on one point of the map. It funnelled everyone to a single point and left 90% of the map a ghost town. Hence spam ensued. The MEC main was way to far from where their assets were required and too far away from the front line to effectively defend. There were 9 flags and you only need 2 to stop bleed, giving little to no incentive for MEC to recapture flags if they had lost more then 1 as it gave no advantage unless all were retaken. Then you had the stalemates at the river, which just degenerated into sniping and arty spam.coolstorybro wrote:

hihihi, I remember those days.RTHKI wrote:
first time piloting heli. everyone else got in the passenger seats so i had to fly. i got everyone killed
I only found this to be the case for certain servers. Ones that didnt focus on Karkand, 24/7, just seemed to have players who played better.DrunkFace wrote:

Me and my friends would never go where the main force was on that map, if we actually wanted to win the game.
Well, it happened a lot when I played the alpha. Back a ways, proned, laying suppression fire. Team mates spawned on me, advancing, making the kills while I got suppression points.Uzique wrote:

You do address a point I've wanted to talk about though. Am I the only person that dislikes getting rewards for every breath I take? Headshot, avenger, long shot, double kill, multikill, triple kill, etc.
I feel like the devs think I'm a little kid with an attention deficit disorder.

Multi-kills, headshots and regular kills deserve points. Assists, suppression, and those kinds of "rewards" are pointless-Sh1fty- wrote:

i dont think assists are pointless, if you bring a guy down 90% you deserve something
supression and all that shit is lame though.

I'm not sure if multiple kills deserve points or not. I think we should only get credit for heals, supplies, objective based stuff, and kills, not sure if I missed something.UnkleRukus wrote:

I thinks bf2 had the "points" pretty balanced , except for repair-points which were ridiculously hard to get , considering how lame and boring it wasjord wrote:

you should get the same points for squad stuff as normal teamwork stuff to. reviving a decent player not in your squad does as much for your team as reviving a mong that keeps going to the same corner to spam UGL rounds every minute,
they're just pushing for TACTICOOL gameplay where you and a squad of three others are on teamspeak addressing one another by made-up clan ranks pretending to be special ops
