You say that and sound like an idiot for it. You must not listen to him at all.
I generally avoid people who preach against drugs but still abuse them themselves, people who seriously think those with Parkinson's are faking it, and people who argue completely against regulation of banking when a lack of regulation clearly was a large part of the problem.
I don't recall much preaching by him about drugs tbh.
Micheal J Fox is an actor; context my friend. you have to listen, you are reacting to media sound bytes, just like they prefer you do.
There are different types of regulation. Do you know what type he is against?

The type that mandates mortgage loans to those who have no chance of paying, to engineer the crash, to make people dependent and enslaved to the government.

Kinda sorta what happened.

Shut up man.  Fact are no good against the Obama hype machine.  Actually listen to the attack on his foreign citizen policy ad... If I can find it first, I'll post it.

Well, excerpts were used from this.

Spoiler (highlight to read):
This is acutally mexico's policy.

Disagree. Saying you hope someone's kidney's fail for a cheap laugh is not the same as having a differing political viewpoint. I can appreciate humor no matter who is on the receiving end.. it can't be completely classless though.

Rush didn't just come out and say that he thought MJF was faking it.

It's not a bad thing to do when you're trying to raise consciousness about it. I was not even critical of it. I'm just suggesting that if he's done it once, done it twice, could he have done it again in the McCaskill ad? Speculated.

You are completely misinformed on why the banks collapsed.  Go research affordable housing.  Apparently, we reward failure. Or he does...

Well then, you really haven't a clue as to who Limbaugh really is then.
I'm aware of the CRA and Barney Frank, but to completely blame this on them is missing the effect that the Gramm-Leach-Billey Act had.

Barney was against regulating Fannie Mae, and the Republican Congress (with the help of Clinton) were against regulating banking to the degree that it needed to be.  So again, lack of regulation was the majority of the problem.

I never said I supported the CRA.

Still, to suggest that I'm just reacting to media soundbytes is strange coming from someone who apparently listens to talk radio propaganda.

Uh, Fannie Mae needed the regulation.  They were encouraged under the Carter administration to make loans on houses regardless.  Banks were rewarded for it.

I'm not disputing any of that.  That's why I just said LACK of regulation was the main problem.

Fannie Mae should've been properly regulated, but the CRA was a really bad regulation.

So, I'm neither unconditionally in support of regulation nor against it, but I generally support more regulation in banking.  The kind of regulation I support mostly concerns speculation and leveraging.  Who a bank loans to isn't the government's business, which I suppose is one of the few things I agree with Rush on.

Fair enough, I'll concede on that then.

MJF has even admitted in his book to not taking his medication before, to show off the disease effects. http://web.archive.org/web/200602091522 … e.php?id=5
He confirmed it in an interview also. http://mfile.akamai.com/5020/wmv/rushli … eo/Fox.asx
