Did anyone else play these? Jane's F-18, F-15, USAF and fighters anthology were all awesome flight sims. I miss the days when i used to boot up fighters anthology. I must of been 6 and I loved that shit to death.

janes had a sick helicopter sim too. (I think) It may have been something else, all I can remember was flying Apaches around and not knowing what was going on. Was too young too actually enjoy it properly

yep f-15 was the best for janes. i remember going to Best buy with $70.00 and getting that game. its long but the cinematic explosions were top of the line.. i rather play that than HAWX.
I played the shit out of WW2 fighters online! the 663 black panthers was my first online gaming clan I was part of. I tried all of the other WW2 flight sims and none of them were as fun. IL was good but WAY to realistic. janes had just the right mix of realisim and fun.

Unfortunately they seem to be really bad in terms of XP compatibility, too many issues. I recently acquired a full version of Janes F/A-18 but it crapped out on me

Something in the range of 1998-2002 era combat flight sims would work nice on my PC. Any thoughts? Jane's is already ruled out as it doesn't work on XP, I've tried both F/A-18 and USAF, I might try F-15 just for lulz, I know there's also Falcon 4.0, but It's hard to acquire that particular piece, most people have the new version of Falcon 4.0 (Allied Force or someshit)

I've had my fun with WW2 fighters, I'm looking for something abit different. What would be awesome is if there's a sim out there using first generation technology. You know, old school Jet fighters, 1st gen A2A missiles/bombs/radar etc.. it would be something different
