i've always wondered, what are the pros and cons of front wheel drive cars? In what ways(except from the obvious ones) does their behaviour differ from the RWD cars?

-Cons
Under steer
Torque Steer but they have ESP for that.

- Pros
FWD are lighter since they need fewer parts than RWD, so better gas mileage
in bad weather the FWD has better control than RWD

FWD are better in the winter. You don't get stuck as easily and it's easier to get out of a snow bank :p

question: i'm thinking of getting a 3-4" suspension lift, and getting some 33" Toyo A/T or M/T tires w/ 17-18" XD type wheels(wheels that look like that probably won't be XD), now do I lift my truck first? or get the wheels and installed them in while i'm doing the lift installation?

No, I want to be able to go off roading, my current 20" wheels are meant for paved roads, kind of great for drifting though, but I like to go off roading, and i'm going to go to the snow a lot during the winter and I need some traction for sure.

Translation; I'm a small chinese boy and I need some street cred to make up for my diminutive stature. How do I go about this?

You know your transmission's going to be all fucked up if you just put bigger wheels on?

lol @ camm

PV: yeah I know, but with my stock suspsension and stock tires it won't do much good when i'm out off roading or in the snow

Most off road trucks are modded, you have to get better tires, suspension, etc. if you want to really off road, except the ford raptor i suppose it's built for off road, but a stock truck will not perform as good as a modded truck

Unless you intend to move to Antarctica, you'll be fine in the snow. As for off-roading, mods won't help you if you don't know what you're doing. Spend the money on lessons/courses instead, then get wheels. Lift kits are just a waste.

well I want to get 33's and I can't get 33's without a lift, but i've heard that a 2.5" leveling kit for the front will fit 33's for a NNBS

well i've been thinking, I have a really good set of 20" tires from bridgestones, so i'm just going to stick with those until they wear out then go for the new tires/lift
