I think the 8C is nice... I don't like that Alfa is ruining it by slapping it's design on every other car where it doesn't fit e.g. MiTo

Meh...don't you have some sort of viable mass transit though?  I honestly don't know how necessary the automobile is for mundane tasks in the UK.  I would be unable to get to work without mine, and the rising gas prices do hit hard, even if its cost is less than yours.

camm you are kinda out of your depth here... it's basic economics. they use all sorts of artificial means and methods to inflate the price of gas/oil... and that's completely ignoring the other market forces and speculation. just the simple supply:demand mechanic is abused in all sorts of ways to ensure that they make as much profit as possible off their remaining finite resources.

It just jumped recently. Around $3.05-3.10 a gallon now. Some gas stations are even around $3.35.

I did ask you a valid question on the previous page, but you ignored it.  How necessary is driving a car (on a daily basis) in the UK?  As in, do the majority of UK residents drive long (30+ mins) daily commutes to work?

This.  I went from spending $150ish a month to about $200 for gas.  That's kind of a pain in the ass.

tbh they have a point, their cars consume a lot more cheap fuel and a lot of people HAVE to drive a lot each day for work.
